“Amazing scenery and pool. Just as we expected from the photos. We were initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning but we had no problems due to the thick stone walls and breeze being 700m above sea level. The hospitality we received from Rita and her mum and dad was the best we have had in Sicily and this is our 6th trip. Giovanni allowed us to pick herbs from the garden and helped us set up the BBQ. Rita answered all our questions the same day and couldn't be more helpful.”

“Couldn’t have imagined a better base from which to explore Sicily. About an hour and half’s drive from Catania airport, we were able to find the apartment easily using the navigation co-ordinates supplied by the host. And what hosts! The owners, Rita and her father Giovanni, kept us informed and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We were given advice about a lot of the points of interest around the area; the nearby Baroque towns of Ragusa and Modica (well worth a visit), as well as information about choice beaches and walks nearby. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and quiet and we had a marvellous view of Comiso and the surrounding area (go for the room with a view if it's available and within budget). Was perfectly pleasant after a hard day’s tourism to sit down with a glass of wine and snack on some of the local delicacies (both of which had also been supplied by our gracious hosts) and plan our trip for the next day. Would recommend this as a place to stay unreservedly. It was ideal whether lounging for the day near the swimming pool or as a starting point to head off exploring around the island.”
